My farm story - Argo

This is my calf he is one year old and his name is Argo, he is a annoying and he head butts me with his horns and I have to be tough with him to make him stop.

Hey is fluffy and soon we have to dehorn him so he doesn't attack us when hes older with sharp horns.

Every calving season there are hundreds of calfs born which keep us busy.

When Argo is older I will sell him and get money from him.

My farm story - Milking time

These cows have just finished being milked, they have milking cups attached to their teats which suck the milk out of their udders they get milked twice a day morning and night.

The cows get milked for 8 months of the year, a few get milked all year-round.

This is called a milk silo, it holds all the milk and stirs it around it keeps the milk at 4 degrees at all times

It holds thousands of litres of milk before  it gets emptied.
